Day 1 - Welcome to New Zealand
Enjoy a brief Auckland sightseeing tour visiting an extinct volcano with panoramic views of the city, see the city centre and the many yacht marinas along the waterfront drive to your hotel. Enjoy dinner at the Orbit restaurant in the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest tower with stunning views of the city.

Day 2 - Auckland - Hamilton - Rotorua
This morning takes us through the Waikato region to Hamilton, a lush farming area world renowned for its racehorse studs. Continue on through the bush clad Mamaku ranges to Rotorua, centre of the Maori culture for the region and world famous for its thermal wonderland.

Day 3 - Rotorua
Begin the day with a visit to Rainbow Springs and a farmshow and shearing display. View the shy, flightless kiwi and the tuatara, a prehistoric lizard. Take a gondola ride and experience a thrilling luge ride. In the afternoon relax at the Polynesian Spas and in the evening enjoy a Maori cultural performance and Maori Hangi with traditionally prepared meats and vegetables.

Day 4 - Rotorua - Christchurch
Visit the Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and see the boiling mud pools and soaring geysers and then visit the Maori Arts & Crafts Institute before taking your flight to Christchurch, the Garden City on the South Island.

Day 5 - Christchurch
Visit the International Antarctic Centre for an exciting “first-hand” experience of the frozen continent. Lunch at Mona Vale, a historic Victorian homestead and explore the beautiful gardens. The afternoon is at your own leisure. Dinner is aboard the Heritage Tram exploring Christchurch’s sights.

Day 6 - Christchurch - Queenstown
Take the morning flight to Queenstown, situated on the shores of Lake Wakatipu

Day 7 - Queenstown
Today we fly to Fiordland National Park, a World Heritage area, and view dramatic mountain scenery, lush rainforests and snow capped peaks as we descend to Milford Sound. Here we cruise the length of the fjord and see the grandeur of mile high Mitre Peak, cliffs, waterfalls and playful dolphins. Return to Queenstown for an afternoon at your leisure.

The day is at your leisure to explore and experience the vast range of activities the region has to offer.

Day 9 - Departure
After a leisurely morning you are transferred to Queenstown Airport to begin your journey home.
